Beekeeping & Other Workshops

Hosted by the farm and conducted by the CT Beekeeper’s Association, our beekeeping sessions run from spring through fall each year. the workshops take individuals through various steps of backyard beekeeping, from hive assembly and bee introduction to detecting disease and preparing the hive for winter. In 2018, we won’t require advance registration of beekeeping workshops; we work to accommodate all who turn out. Beekeeping workshops generally run 75-90 minutes and have a suggested donation of $10/pp.
