Committees of Massaro Community Farm, Inc.
Our committees meet once a month to make decisions about the direction of MCF. If you are interested in joining one or more committees, or have questions or comments, please email nominate@massarofarm.org. Thank you.
Building Committee [Chair, Jim Urbano]
This committee shall assist the MCF board on matters pertaining to the physical infrastructure of the Massaro Farm.
Development Committee [Chair, Jon Gorham]
The Development Committee seeks to devise fundraising strategies and develop related opportunities for funding to enable and enhance the mission of the farm.
Education Committee [Chair, Jason Morrill]
The mission of the Massaro Community Farm Education Committee is to provide information to surrounding communities about sustainable agriculture (including nutrition and food preparation), farmland preservation, and local biodiversity.
Legal Committee [Chair, David Schneider]
The legal committee exists to provide legal and quasi-legal services to the MCF and the CSA.
Nominating Committee [Co-Chairs Cathy Shufro and Cathy Wick]
The Nominating Committee is in charge of searching out new volunteers and committee members as well as new officers and directors.
Outreach Committee [Co-Chairs Cathy Shufro and Cathy Wick]
The Outreach Committee shall initiate and monitor community relationships, such as the relationships with MCF members, MCF neighbors, recipients of food donations, volunteers, and the community at large.
