Potluck and a Movie
August 29, 2025 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Free
Join us on Friday, August 29 from 6:30-8:30pm at Massaro Community Farm for a potluck supper followed by a short, inspiring film! Bring your favorite dish to share (with a list of ingredients) and a serving spoon as we enjoy conversation and community under our pavilion. Healthy main dishes are particularly welcome. Nonalcoholic drinks, plates, bowls, cutlery, and cups will be provided. At dusk we will watch a 25 minute video from the BBC Follow the Food series entitled “Turning Back the Climate Clock.” This inspiring short film illuminates all the work being done by farmers and researchers around the world to help meet the climate challenge head on. The efforts we make here at Massaro are a small piece of this inspiring and hopeful work. Bring a blanket or lawn chair for the movie which we will watch on the grass behind the pavillion. This event is free to attend but registration is preferred. Rain date is Aug 30th.
