Programs After School at the Farm This enriching 8-week program offered in both the Spring and Fall invites students to explore the farm, engage in activities in the Learning Garden, visit our animals, walk the nature trail, and discover the origins of their food. School Vacation Days Massaro Community Farm offers farm-based activities and exploration for school vacation days throughout the school year. For children in grades 1-7. Summer Camp Massaro Summer Camp welcomes kids entering grades 1–7 to join us for an exciting summer filled with adventure, learning, and fun! Home School Small multi-age group engage in experiential learning about agriculture, nature and ecology as we explore the 57 acres that make up Massaro Community Farm. Children will engage in farm and nature-based programs that follow the seasons and their interests. Growing Sprouts A farm exploration series for children ages 2-5 and their caregivers. Families are invited to explore the farm, visit our farm animals, harvest from the garden, try new foods, and experience the natural world. Field Trips Discover the educational opportunities we offer for all ages and grade levels, pre-K through 12, including home schools, as well as university and graduate programs. Give & Grow Massaro offers team building through our Give & Grow program to provide fresh, healthy food for the Greater New Haven and Naugatuck Valley region.
